Daniela Andrier
Originally from Germany, she arrived in Paris as a teenager, and it was only after studying philosophy at the Sorbonne that she began to consider a career in the world of perfume, thanks to some pivotal encounters. An award-winning perfumer working at Givaudan, she has been fascinated by the nostalgia evoked by scents since she was very young, and for her, a fragrance is always a thread linking the past, the present and the future. For her, a creation is successful when it evokes a kind of olfactory déjà vu. The ability of a fragrance—this invisible substance in a world of images—to bring joy, enchantment, emotion and poetry guides her in every new project, which she sees as an act of freedom.
