Alain Bouldouyre

Passionate globe-trotter and experienced notebook artist, Alain Bouldouyre has travelled around the world several times and has been drawing and painting it relentlessly since the 1970s. After publishing numerous stories, notebooks and even travel guides, he now collaborates with Voyageurs du Monde and Déserts du Monde, as well as illustrates the fine collection of Dictionnaires amoureux published by Plon. His meeting with Memo Paris was an obvious choice, and he has notably sketched the world of Irish Leather, the Irish countryside and the ardour of horses, in a lively and invigorating watercolour technique.
